MORE ON DAY 7--GREAT NEWS!!
THEY DID IT!!! We just heard from Eben Schoeman, one of the owners of Kiliwarriors Outfitters. He received a text comfirming that Anna's and Ashley's group made it to the summit (19,365 ft) and decended back down to camp for the night. Eben and Carol Schoeman are 95% sure that they are at Crater Camp, which is at 18,500.ft. (still freezing). They don't have cell coverage, so we don't know any details to share at this point. Eben said that everyone is in great spirits. More later when we hear from Anna and Ashley.

CONGRATULATIONS!! It is now 7 am where you are, and you are probably waking to hot tea and ready to descend to some richer air! The descent to Mweka Camp is TOUGH on the knees and toes--at least it was for me, but you are probably feeling so awesome that you won't feel it! I am anxious to hear your stories and see your pictures!

Congratulations from FL, Anna and Mr. Curry!!! I've been tracking your sucess daily, and wanted you to know that I've distributed this story within my company to spread the message of goal-setting, determination, and ultimate achievement. Despite all the joys of personal sucess that you are having and will continue to have, the #4 comment on the Big News Day 7 Blog is what I believe to be the greatest accomplishment.....spreading hope and a positive attitude for those who are starting a summit of their own in their life with OI.
Great job, enjoy the safari, and come back safe!
